Looking Out South Towards the mainland, Mike tried to remember how he got here. Obviously he remembers the ferry, filled with 500 of Sydney’s finest, dressed like they knew they would soon be
Cast Away on this paradise island. He’ll probably never forget the intense excitement that buzzed around the boat, built on the anticipation of the hedonism that lay ahead.
But the ferry didn’t hold the answer, Mike needed to go back further. Back to a Thailand beach two years previous, to a night that would never be forgotten, and yet could never be fully remembered.
Drifting mindlessly along The Beach, Mike accidentally shoulder barges Tim. Is this another fight in the making? The quick mutual apology suggests not,
and an easy conversation follows. Back in Sydney, a friendship develops through a mutual love of dirty music, dress up parties and awesome summer festivals. The
LOST seed is growing. Meanwhile Tim's ghettotastic cousin Mikey has just thrown a wild party in an isolated field in the mountains, for a few hundred of his closest friends. It’s only a matter a time before the three come together and start planning something.
The idea is simple: hold a festival on a Sydney Harbour island with breathtaking views, a sandy beach and a thumping sound system. A festival with enough room to roam free. To dance. To play. To swim. A festival without fences. Without drink queues. Without police and their dogs. Without attitude.
Add to this recipe a collection of Sydney's finest party minds and like a phoenix rising from the ashes of over commercialised, vibeless summer festivals comes LOST on Shark Island. To the uninitiated, LOST is a collection of local and international party-loving people renowned for their ability to rock a party. With a penchant for good times, fancy dress, beautiful people, deep and funky hip shakin' party grooves, the LOST collective are coming together
on Mike's 30th birthday to create party mayhem on Shark Island, Saturday, January 17 2009.
Combining the talents of DJs Jamie Doom and Gus Da Hoodrat (Bang Gang Djs), DJ Jason Barrie, DJ Bozo, DJ Chux (Disco Punx), and
still more, LOST delivers eccentric purveyors of a sound that is equally fresh, unique, addictive and highly entertaining.
It’s all clear now, where it started, why he did it, how it came together. Back
to the present, Mike assesses what’s in front of him, and likes what he sees:
An island filled with lucky Survivors, ready to party.

The last of the Bang Gang's dirty bass lines resonate across the world's most beautiful Harbour to a massive cheer. The Tribe has spoken.
As the sun sets behind the bridge, a deafening silence envelops the
castaways. The rescue ship is waiting, but it's a rescue nobody wanted. 500
party loving souls, LOST on Shark Island for a day, drudge reluctantly
towards the jetty. Surely it can't be over?
X marks the spot.
Only those with the Treasure Map in their pocket know the truth: the night is
just beginning.
StickyFloor Productions mark the way to FOUND: a sanctuary on the hill, a
shelter for the night, overlooking the island where it all took place. The
natives are friendly here... live entertainment, pure party vibes and uniquely
blended refreshment will be waiting for the fortunate of the day's Survivors. Those
wise enough to want to kick on, avoiding the taxis, the queues, the dress codes,
the doormen.
Stay with the tribe.
FOUND is now sold out. Register your interest below, and Sticky Floor
will contact you if tickets become available.

 | DJs Jamie Doom and Gus Da Hoodrat are part of the legendary Bang Gang DJs who have enjoyed
phenomenal success over the last couple of years.
Their mish mash of retro classics with electro beats has been in heavy demand on the music festival circuit, getting crowds into a frenzy at Good Vibes, Future Music, Big Day Out and most memorably supporting Daft Punk at Nevereverland in 2007.
